So today we analyzed all four verses for content, rhythm, and rhyming. This is the final product!
Also, we did mirroring to Adele's "Hello."
So sad, so sad...but great inspiration for budding songwriters.

Last Monday, the class divided into groups to write verses for our song for the winter program. The verses will focus on four fall/winter holidays: Diwali, Chanukah, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. Here are pictures of the class hard at work!
Hi there, kids! It's occurred to me that several of you stop and ask me, "what song was that?!!!" when we're done with our racquetball activity each class period. So here's a list of the songs we've heard so far, and what we'll hear today: "Was There Nothing?" by Asgeir |
Our focus for the entire school year will be... SONGWRITINGGET READY, IT'S GONNA BE FUN! Oh, also, the winter play is already written. It's based on the book, Black Dog, by Levi Pinfold. Thank your classmate Dominic for his writing prowess and jokester style. He was great in the playwright workshop this summer! |
See you on September 14th! | (P.S. that's my birthday, so be extra cool. Wait, what am I saying??! It's YOU GUYS!) |
